Act Growth Suite – What You Need to Know NOW
In my last article I gave you a fifty cent history of the various Act E-Marketing solutions. What is Act! Growth Suite?
- Act! Growth Suite is an ESP (e-mail service provider). That means it sends email blasts (groups of 50 or more) which keeps you compliant and gives you insight into various metrics including open rates, bounces, opt-outs and click-throughs.
- Act! Growth Suite seamlessly integrates with Act which means you can send email campaigns to your existing Groups, personalize your email with your existing contact information, and see the history of the campaign from within Act!
- Act! Growth Suite will let you create landing pages, forms and surveys to make it easy to collect data and have it flow directly into your Act! database
- Act! Growth Suite includes Drip Marketing functionality which will let you create an entire campaign from start to finish.
What Are the Levels of Growth Suite?
There are three levels of Act! Growth Suite:
- Act! Growth Suite Professional/Select: Allows for the sending of 10,000 emails/month
- Act! Growth Suite Premier/Complete: Allows for the sending of 50,000 emails/month
- Act! Growth Suite Ultimate/Advanced: Allows for the sending of 100,000 emails/month

Hi, I was thinking about starting act again, after not using it for about 5 years.
What I liked about act pro, was its ability to drip out email campaigns with the standard template, but I’ve been not using it for years now

ACT! Pro does not have the ability to do emarketing. The only thing you could do with ACT! Pro is do a BCC email (which could use a Template) but that will be limited to your internet provider’s limitations. And, if you are using Outlook 365 it will stop working after a while so if you are using ACT! Pro (which is being discontinued) you will be out of luck.
You would need to move to the ACT! Premium Growth Suite platform which is currently on sale for $450/user; this also includes hosting and full ACT! support. This would allow you to send 25,000 emails/month. Next year the pricing is supposedly going up to $600/user/year but again, a lot can happen in the next 365 days.
As you haven’t used ACT! in years, you might want to explore other options. ZOHO starts at $144/year and allows you to send 250 emails/day. They have other plans ranging from $155 – $360/user/year which would allow for higher send limits.
