Can I Retrieve Lost Act Data?

It may be possible to retrieve deleted ACT contact records IF you have a recent backup. Here’s what you need to do:

  • If you have a backup of your ACT database from before the contact records were deleted, you can simply restore your backup IF you haven’t made any additional changes to your data that might not be included in the backup.
  • If you have made changes to your Act data subsequent to deleting records the process becomes a bit trickier. You will need to restore a recent backup using a different name than the original database. You can then do a Lookup for the deleted records in the restored database and export them into the production database.
