What’s New in Bigin: The Biggest Updates from 2025

zoho biginBigin had a busy year in 2025, rolling out smart upgrades designed to save time, reduce manual work, and improve how you connect with customers. Here’s a quick look at the most useful new features and why they matter.

  • Easier Scheduling with Booking Pages: Bigin now lets customers book appointments through simple, no-code booking pages. Meetings are added automatically to your activity list, complete with reminders and optional Zoom or Zoho Meeting links—no emails back and forth required.
  • Real-Time Updates with External Record Sharing: You can now share live updates from your pipeline with customers. Whether it’s an order, refund, or support request, customers can see progress in real time without chasing you for updates.
  • Smarter WhatsApp Automation: Automated WhatsApp messages make it easier to send reminders, updates, and follow-ups at just the right time. Templates now support images, videos, CTAs, merge fields, and quick replies—and you can even send voice messages for a more personal touch.
  • Better Automation and Integrations: Bigin workflows are more powerful than ever. New Zoho Flow actions let you trigger tasks across other apps—like creating invoices in QuickBooks, sending Slack messages, or even using AI to respond to chats automatically.
  • Stronger Email Tools: You can now save email drafts, schedule emails by time zone, and track better campaign metrics like audience size and bounced messages. Spam and duplicate emails can also be reviewed before they enter your pipeline.
  • Built-In Invoicing with QuickBooks Online: Once a deal is closed, you can create invoices and estimates directly from Bigin, keeping sales and billing neatly connected.
  • Faster Lead Capture—Anywhere: Use the mobile app’s built-in business card scanner to instantly create contacts. Plus, LeadChain now pulls leads directly from Google Ads and Click-to-WhatsApp campaigns, alongside existing social ad integrations.
  • Cleaner Data and Better Control: Forms now support validation rules to prevent bad data, and workflows offer more control over assignments and tagging. New audit log filters, default access levels, and enhanced exports give admins tighter control over data and visibility.
  • AI-Powered CRM with Zoho MCP: Bigin now connects securely to popular AI tools, allowing you to search records, update deals, draft follow-ups, and trigger workflows using simple prompts.
  • Major Mobile App Improvements: Many popular web features—like WhatsApp templates, Signals, and user management—are now available on mobile. Navigation is cleaner, and Apple users gained telephony support and full compatibility with the latest iOS updates.

The Bottom Line:

Bigin’s 2025 updates focus on automation, better communication, and flexibility—helping small teams work faster, stay organized, and deliver a smoother customer experience without adding complexity. If you haven’t explored these features yet, now’s a great time to take a fresh look at what Bigin can do. Using Act? Hi David,

30 years in Act is quite an achievement. Too bad that Act doesn’t recognize this achievement in any way. One of the cool things about the Zoho products is that if you stop using them your data doesn’t just disappear. Your Zoho product will revert to a free version which means you may no longer have access to all of the bells and whistles but you will have access to what matters the most: your data! Give me a call and let’s get your Act data transferred over to Zoho!

I’m a 90 year old disabled ex-executive who has used ACT for more than 30 years. Just looking for an expensive ACT I can use for my doctor’s appointments, friends, grocery lists and something that buzzes/rings day before, day of, 15 minute warning to go into video chat w/doc
