This week Act Premium v25 was released; here is a rundown of my favorite features:
New Act v25 Premium Desktop Features
- Act! Insight Advanced Dashboard Builder: create advanced, custom Act Dashboards
- Advanced querying allows for multiple sets of criteria
- Create new dashboards based on contact, group, company, and opportunity data

- SMS Text Messaging: Text messaging is an affordable and efficient way to reach your contacts. Open rates are 4x greater than traditional email (98% vs 22%).

- Jump to Campaign Dashboard – Allows users quick access to the campaign dashboard to view more granular data around campaign success.
- Export all Email Campaigns – Quickly exports campaign data to .csv which is sent directly to the users email.
- Email Suppression List Filters: Allows users to zero in on the right data with three new filters for suppression – Reason, Status and by date.

- Improvements to the Act Companion phone app: Available for Apple and Android devices, the Act! Companion mobile app keeps users connected to their Act! database from anywhere.
- Log in Screen: Easier for users to quickly access the mobile app.
- Opportunities Filtering: Act! Mobile app users can review opportunities by status with new filtering, search for opportunities by opportunity name, and see which filters have been applied.
- Search for Opportunities by Opportunity Name.
- Proximity Search: Easily find the address you’re looking for and easily adjust the search radius.

Purchase Act v25 Upgrades:
- Tech Benders’ Clients: As always, if you purchased your software through Tech Benders, please request upgrade instructions tailored to your current version. Your current license number will continue to work with Act v25 Premium for desktop.
- Legacy (Act v2005 – 2017) and Pro Users: You will only be able to purchase ACT! v25 Premium as annual subscription. Please Note: You can still install ACT! on your own computer; it does NOT have to be “hosted in the clouds.” If you purchase a new Act Premium subscription from Tech Benders you will receive discounted pricing, free email support and several free instructional training webinars each year.
