I’ve always known Zoho had strong marketing… but my recent trip to Canada proved that Zoho’s marketing team might actually be telepathic—or at least incredibly efficient.
It all started on the New Jersey Turnpike. I’m driving toward the exit for the GW Bridge, mentally preparing for the gridlock that only New York City can provide, when suddenly—there it is. A massive Zoho billboard. A beacon of CRM hope rising above brake lights and collective commuter despair.
Hundreds of thousands of motorists sit in that traffic every day, and Zoho is right there with them. Honestly, if you’re going to be stuck on the Turnpike, you might as well learn about better business software.
Fast-forward to Newark Airport. I’m shuffling through TSA, doing that awkward “am I standing in the right line?” dance, and I walk out to the benches where travelers put their shoes back on. And what’s staring at me?
A wall-sized Zoho advertisement. At that point I started checking over my shoulder. Is Zoho… following me?
Then I boarded my American Airlines flight to Montreal. I’m ready to zone out with the inflight entertainment when—boom—Zoho ad. Front and center, right before the movie starts.
I thought, “Okay, great placement. Nicely done.”
But the real moment of enlightenment came on the flight home from Quebec to Newark. Same airline. Same seat-back screen. Same Zoho ad. At that point, I’m convinced Zoho boarded the plane before I did.
So yes—Zoho’s marketing isn’t just good. It’s everywhere. Highways. Airports. Airplanes. International borders. If there was a maple tree in Quebec with a Zoho logo carved into it, I wouldn’t have even been surprised.
All jokes aside, this is exactly what effective, efficient marketing looks like:
📍 High visibility
📍 Smart placement
📍 Consistent messaging
📍 Meeting your audience wherever they are—literally
It’s one thing to hear about great brand presence. It’s another thing to witness it in billboards, airports, and at 35,000 feet.
Zoho doesn’t just talk about reach. Zoho shows it—loud, clear, and occasionally in my face while I’m putting my shoes back on.
