How much will it cost to convert my database to another CRM solution?

At Tech Benders we have literally converted dozens of databases from one CRM system to another. Some companies only want us to extract all of their Act data which is something we can do. Other companies want us to both extract existing data and import it into their new CRM solution. Still other companies may already have their existing data and simply want us to import it into their new solution. Regardless of your situation, we will work with you on pricing for your conversion project.

Here are a few things to keep in mind:

• The cost of your data extraction and implementation is directly proportional to the size of your data. Some databases may consist of only a few hundred contacts but have hundreds of customized fields. It is not unusual for us to see an Act database with over 1 million history items.
• You might want to rethink bringing “ALL” of your data to the new CRM solution. You may have histories dating back 25 years, or system information that you don’t even realize you have.
• You need to have a place in the NEW system for every piece of data you wish to bring over from the OLD system. Sometimes this is not possible based on the limitations of your new system. For example, your new system may not have the customized layout capabilities you were using in Act. Or the new system may only have a place for ONE note per contact while your old solution allowed you to create as many notes as needed per contact.
