    Hi Steve,

    You’re certainly not alone. This has been one of the biggest frustrations for ACT! users over the years.

    Many years ago, there was a product called QSalesData that did a respectable job of synchronizing ACT! with QuickBooks. Unfortunately, it’s no longer available, and while other integration tools have come and gone, none have provided the kind of seamless, reliable experience most businesses are looking for. As a result, many ACT! users are still stuck with duplicate data entry between their CRM and accounting system.

    Today, my recommendation is usually to move to a platform where the integration is built in rather than trying to connect two products that weren’t originally designed to work together.

    If you want to continue using QuickBooks, Zoho CRM offers excellent integration that can synchronize customers, invoices, estimates, products, and payment information, significantly reducing duplicate entry and keeping your sales and accounting teams on the same page.

    If you’re open to replacing both systems, Zoho CRM combined with Zoho Books provides an even tighter integration. Quotes created in CRM can flow into Books, invoices and payment status are visible from within CRM, and customer information stays synchronized automatically. Everything works as one business platform instead of separate applications connected by an add-on.

    I have Act! and Quickbooks. I am seeking a CRM that will allow for seamless integration flow with a bookkeeping product. Having Act! and Quickbooks relegates me to dual entry. I haven’t been successful with an Act! and Quickbooks integration. Is there a better, more integrated system?

    Thanks for reaching out to Tech Benders!

    Unfortunately, the QuickBooks link does NOT work with QuickBooks Online. If you have the Premium version of Act you can access some of your information using Act Connect. However, it will not give you anywhere near the amount of data you would receive using the desktop version of QuickBooks with the Act/QuickBooks link.
